Ha Nghi
Nghi is the heart and soul of the current Inspire Vietnam operations. She works intimately with the partner schools to make recommendations and coordinate the renovation of the school libraries. Nghi has extensive non-profit experience both as a volunteer as well as with various other local organizations, including Room To Read.
Truong Minh Thang
Thang is a current MBA student with the Haas School of Business and is an ardent believer in the power of public education. As a former Brand Manager for Unilever Vietnam, Thang leverages his extensive network to obtain corporate donations, including books and materials for partner schools. Thang also plays a hands on role, meeting with school staff and building lasting relationships.
Wendy Nguyen
The original founder of Inspire Vietnam, Wendy is a strong advocate of giving children the chance to read and explore. Wendy spent a better part of her childhood flipping through the dog-earred pages of Encyclopedia Brown and the Chronicles of Narnia in her local library. Saddened by the dilapidated libraries in Vietnam’s rural south, she formed Inspire Vietnam with the aim of giving children who are in need a simple but fun space to read. Wendy no longer resides in Vietnam, but continues to support the non-profit group through fund raising efforts.
